ATLANTA, December 8, 2010 – McKesson announced today that Lytec® MD 2011 is 2011/2012 compliant and was certified as a Complete EHR on December 6, 2010, by the Certification Commission for Health Information Technology (CCHIT®), an ONC-ATCB, in accordance with the applicable certification criteria for eligible providers adopted by the Secretary of Health and Human Services. “We are proud to receive ONC-ATCB certification for Lytec MD from CCHIT,” said David Henriksen, senior vice president and general manager of McKesson’s Physician Practice Solutions. “Our focus is not only to have our software meet certification standards, but also to help physicians drive improved patient outcomes, boost revenues and bring vitality into their practices. To help promote the success of our customers, we continue to offer meaningful use webinars, regional meetings, training, education and support services.”

The ONC-ATCB 2011/2012 certification program tests and certifies that Complete EHR’s meet all of the 2011/2012 criteria approved by the Secretary of Health and Human Services (HHS) for either eligible provider or hospital technology.
