Server	Requirements
Processor	Equivalent to Intel Dual Core 2.0 GHz+ or Quad Core 1.8 GHz+
RAM	4 GB+
OS	Windows 2003 Server (Standard or Enterprise), 32-bit Windows 2008 Server Standard, 32-bit or 64-bit (R2 is not yet supported) *NOTE: SMALL BUSINESS SERVER IS NOT SUPPORTED
Hard Drive	A second, dedicated hard drive (second drive needs to be named P:) 175GB (a dedicated partition or drive is required for for data), RAID 1
Monitor	32-Bit color display, 1024x768 or higher resolution
DVD Drive	Required
Backup Solution:	Online Backup, External Hard Drive, Tape Drive, DVD Burner All backups should be stored offsite

Medisoft Clinical Web View Web Server (only required if using Medisoft Clinical Web View)
Server	Requirements
Processor	Equivalent to Intel Pentium® 4 2.0Ghz processor or higher
RAM	1 GB+
OS	Windows 2000 Server (Standard or Enterprise), 32-bit Windows 2003 Server (Standard or Enterprise), 32-bit *NOTE: SMALL BUSINESS SERVER IS NOT SUPPORTED
Hard Drive	6GB+
Monitor	32-Bit color display, 1024x768 or higher resolution
Network	Network and high speed Internet connectivity
Other	Microsoft Internet Information Services (IIS) Hardware firewall is recommended and must be able to protect your database and network from intrusion. Firewall must be capable of being configured for either a DMZ network or a port forwarding network

ADDITIONAL NOTES:

1. When running MediSoft Clinical with Windows Server 2008 64-bit, you must turn off the Windows UAC feature (requirement of c-tree server).
2. Medisoft Clinical does not support the Remote Application feature in Windows Server 2008.
3. Medisoft Clinical is a 32-bit application and will run in 32-bit mode on a 64-bit server.

Scanner: Medium-sized organization or single-department application

• Fujitsu fi-6130 sheet-fed scanner
• Fujitsu fi-6230 sheet-fed scanner
• Fujitsu fi-60F A6 high-speed flatbed scanner

Power Protection:

• A battery backup (UPS) is recommended in case of power failure.
• Surge protectors are recommended on all workstations.

Network:

• Wired 100 Mbps Ethernet (for optimum performance a Gigabit full-duplex 10/100/1000 Ethernet router/switch using CAT5e (or CAT6) Ethernet cable). Consult with a licensed network vendor for proper wiring for your business computing environment.
• Wireless networks are not recommended. If a wireless network is the only option the minimum is an 802.11G wireless network.

Internet (Recommended):

• High-speed cable, DSL or Satellite Internet (Recommended)
