McKesson launched a Special Financing Promotion, a limited-time offer to reduce the cost barriers associated with independent physician adoption of electronic health records (EHR's).

With this promotion, physicians may choose from one of two options:

• 0% interest for 12 months with a 25% down payment
• $1,000 cash rebate for the first five user licenses with a $500 cash rebate for each additional five user licenses

Details:

• For the financing option, an agreement will be signed with McKesson and a credit check will be required.
• Rebates will be paid by a third party within eight weeks of submission. A practice will need to submit their documentation online directly to the third-party rebate company.
• This promotion can not be combined with other offers.
• The financing applies to software and maintenance only and not services such as E-prescribing or electronic claims.
