Lytec 2009 Medical Practice Management System New Features:

  • Patient Statement Enhancements - With the new Charge Detail Line feature you can print a charge and its associated payment(s), adjustment(s) and balance on one line. Statements can be generated that are much shorter and less confusing to the patient. Less confusion translates to less patient phone calls.

  • Show Detail Payments for Specific Items - In the Charges and Payments screen, there is a new check box called "Show item payments". Checking the box makes payment details display directly under their corresponding charge line item.

  • Filtering Reports to Include Non-Consecutive Values - You can now select non-consecutive ranges when running certain reports in Lytec.

  • Integrated Online Eligibility Verification - Verify patient's eligibility from within the Lytec appointment scheduler using RelayHealth's Connectivity Services.
  • Practice Analysis Subtotal by Provider Report - Multi-provider clinics will want to take advantage of the new ability to run the Practice Analysis report with subtotal information by provider.
  • Prepayment Activity Zero Balance Suppression - Lytec 2009 medical practice management system brings ease in a paper saving process for identifying unapplied pre-payments.
  • Billing Inactive Codes Warning - This new feature will warn you when you save a bill of any and all inactive values used in that bill, all in one warning screen.
  • Billing Status Code - There is a new field in Lytec 2009 called Billing Status Code. This code is very similar to the patient code or type, except that it is stored on the bill, not the patient. This code is stored per billing number and can be used as a filter to include or exclude on all financial reports and when generating claims and statements.
  • Create Charges from Appointment Scheduler - To increase workflow, the front desk person can now enter the charge and copay to hand the receipt to the patient immediately without leaving the appoint scheduler screen.
  • Patient Merge Utility - When multiple patient records have been created for the same patient, the Merge Patient Utility can be used to make them one again.
  • Patient Notes Security and Audit Trail Enhancement - Lytec 2009 medical practice management system adds additional security selection options to allow or restrict users from viewing, adding, deleting and modifying patent notes. This will allow the administrator to set security setting at the User or User Type level. This new feature allows adds entries in the Audit Trail for each user that adds, deletes, or modifies any patient notes.
  • Add Location-Facility Subtotals to Financial Reports - Adds the ability to subtotal by Location and Facility codes on several of the analysis and aging reports.
  • Adding Month-to-Date and Year-to-Date Totals to Financial Reports - Provides financial data to compare Month-to-Date and Year-to-Date totals. This feature will give your practice a clear picture of the overall financial status of the practice.
  • Allow Custom Reports to Access Data from More Fields in Lytec - Several new fields are now available for use by the custom report writer in Lytec 2009.
  • Year-End Patient Payment Detail Tax Report - Lytec 2009 includes a new report which allows the practice to easily print the total of a patient's payments received and posted by the practice on a calendar year basis.
  • Sharing Appointment Templates - Allows the user to create and/or edit a template for a single resource and then allow other resources to use that same template. The process of using templates now becomes much more manageable and efficient with Lytec 2009 medical practice management system.
